STUDENT COUNCIL

Beside academics, the school also instills a sense of leadership authority & responsibility. Through this there is delegation of responsibilities amongst the students. This is done by forming students council every year.

Examinations

There will be three terminal examinations in August, November and March respectively and the reports of all the examinations will be considered for promotion to the next class.

In each examination in all subjects 40% of the marks are required for passing and 75% for distinction. English is given the maximum weightage and it is mandatory for a student to get pass marks in English. Absence or failure in any subject excludes a student from being reckoned with the order of merit in the examination. The result of the examinations is final and cannot be reconsidered. Answer scripts of final examinations is not shown.

Promotions

Pupils will be disqualified, if they are detected in giving or obtaining or attempting unfair assistance in the examinations. No double promotion or jumping of class is allowed on any ground. Neither age nor outstanding performance is considered reason enough for double promotion.
The decision of the Principal with regard to the promotion of a student shall be final and binding on the students and their parents. The school Management reserves to itself the right to dismiss students who continuously fail to make satisfactory progress in their studies or whose conduct is, in any way, detrimental to the orderly life of the school. Students failing twice in the same class or failing twice in the consecutive years will not be allowed to continue in the school.
Parents are requested not to send sick children for tests, and examinations. Health is more important than a grade. No requests for anticipation will be entertained.
