Admission & Withdrawal

Children are admitted purely on the basis of entrance test. Registration does not assure admission. When the registration form is submitted, date of written test will be given.
Copy of the written test will not be shown. Admission form will be issued to the successful child. The Principal reserves the right to refuse admission to any child without giving any reason.
Pupils cannot be admitted into the school without the Transfer Certificate of the school last attended. Candidate joining the school first time from home has to produce an official birth certificate in support of the date of birth entered in the admission form. In case of non-submission of the above mentioned certificates, T.C will not be issued.
Admission fee is to be paid on arrival of each new scholar. Those who after withdrawal return to the school are included under the term of newcomer and must pay admission fees again.
If the parents/guardians wish to withdraw their ward in the mid academic session, the next quarter's fee in addition to the fees of the running quarter in which the application for withdrawal/T.C is made has to pay. Transfer Certificate will not be issued unless all school dues have been cleared satisfactory either in mid-session or after completing the session.
It is mandatory that pupils as well as parents will confirm to the regulations and requirements of the school after enrolment. The Principal has the right to suspend the student or demand the withdrawal of any pupil whose conduct or progress is not satisfactory.
No pupil should leave the school premises without the permission of the Principal.
School authorities are not responsible for the medical / monetary or any other claim, if any accident or injury takes place while playing, picnic or during activities, practical etc.
The aim of St. Mary's Convent School is the healthy development of the scholars spiritually, intellectually, physically and socially, so that he/she will find a meaning in life and hope for the future. The interpretation of any rule in this as well as any amendment to it rests solely and entirely with the governing body of the school. This interpretation shall be final and binding on parents and students and this shall not be challenged before any authority or court of law.
Student who is absent for more than one month without any intimation to the Principal, OR whose remissible school fees is pending for more than one quarterly installment his/her name will be struck off from the school rolls and in case of re-joining the admission fee will be recharged and the school authorities may exercise their right of not re-admitting any student.
Tuition and other fees will be charged for 12 calendar months.
The school authorities do not hold themselves responsible for the student's loss of tiffin box, money, books, articles or clothing etc. Articles found in the school are to be handed over to the office. It is not allowed to bring or wear the costly articles in the school.
The engagement of any teaching staff of the school as a private tutor shall not be allowed.
Parents and students will follow and abide by all the rules and regulations, circulars and instructions issued by the management, time to time.
Application for a Transfer Certificate should be given in writing to the Principal by the Parent / Guardian of the pupil. A three days written notice is required to issue the T.C.
The Principal reserves the right to refuse the admission of any student without giving any reason and to suspend or demand the withdrawal of any student whose conduct or progress is not satisfactory.
If any Bill / Law implemented on the institution by the state / union government for the disadvantaged & economically weaker section, the rules-regulations & norms etc. may be extended / subdued for the candidates who are coming under that category.
